Q: I would like to use the standard mixer to mix parker house rolls. Which model would be best?
A: I am not sure what "Parker House Rolls" are but we recommend a higher wattage mixer for bread doughs. The two best models would be the Pro 5 Plus or the Pro 600. If you are not set on the Kitchen Aid brand I would recommend the Bosch Universal.

Q: On the model with the glass bowl, can you also use the stainless bowl and would you use a 4.5 or 5qt stainless?
A: Yes you may use the stainless bowl with this mixer. You would use the stainless bowl that fits the Artisan 5 Quart Mixer Model K5THSBP.

I bought two of these KitchenAid Candy Apple Red Artisans last year for Christmas for my daughters and you would have thought I gave them the moon! They love them and use them all the time. I never dreamed they would leave these mixers out on the counter all the time. One of my daughters told me on Thanksgiving this year that she looks at it like an expensive piece of kitchen furniture. I am thankful to Everything Kitchen for having the best prices I have ever found on small appliances. This year I am shopping for food processors.

I've used hand mixers all my life, but I will never go back after using this stand mixer. It mixes everything so well and makes baking so much easier, faster, and more efficient. The candy apple color is absolutely gorgeous, and I get compliments on it all the time!

Wow - I love it! -
I have always used a hand mixer. Shame on me! This is so easy to use and mixes thoroughly. I love being able to watch the process through the glass bowl. My only caution would be that the bowl is on the heavy side, so if your arm strength is less than "normal" you'd probably be better to get the metal bowl.

Love the Candy Apple Red -
I went to take a look at all the colors on display at a department store because my laptop's monitor doesn't give off real colors and I want to make sure I'm getting the right color for the real thing. They are not glittery or pearly like the color you find from a pearl-colored car. It's more like a glossed metallic christmas ornament with no glitters. I'm glad I chose the candy apple red because it looks so good, matches with my kitchen and looks professional!! Everything Kitchens did a great job in providing large and detailed photos for me to decide when buying, and their checkout system is fast and easy. Their shipping is pretty fast too, I got mine in 3 business days. It's brand-new and factory sealed from kitchenaid. I opened it to test the beater-to-bowl, and found out that the kitchenaid factory has already pre-adjusted everything. Works great and I will make so much desserts and ice cream out of it in the future.
