 love it, but mine was defective -
my in-laws had this same mixer in red and i mixed 2-3 bathches of cookies at one time, but when i purchased mine, it sounded like something was wrong with the cranks in it? but i recieved it in two days when i paid for standard shipping and they were so friendly and quickly arranged a pick up delivery so it will be fixed or I'll be shipped a new one free charge. have seen good things from this mixer, mine was just a dud. also keep the upc from the original box or you can't get the rebate!!! i threw my box out not wanting clutter and now am very sad that i did.

Best Mixer Money Can Buy -
My husband purchased this Kitchenaid Black Professional mixer for me for Christmas, as my baking business began to take off. This is easily the best kitchen purchase we have ever made! It has found a permanent home on my counter even though I do not use it every day. The 6 quart mixing bowl is nice and big, and easily accommodates double batter mixes. The motor is a KitchenAid; powerful and reliable. I have used all three mixing attachments and enjoy them all; I use the paddle the most. I also invested in a paddle that acts like a built in spatula--a must have for frequent bakers! All in all this is the best stand mixer on the market; if you are mixing with anything other than a KitchenAid, you are not mixing right!! I am happy I do not have to ask my mother/mother-in-law to borrow theirs, and look forward to purchasing another one. :)

My Favorite Mixer Bar None -
Purchased this Kitchenaid Pro 600 for a gal's bridal shower. It was the exact one that she was asking for and she loves it. I've had my 5 qt. for almost 40 years and it's still going. Left my first one in Cochabamba, Bolivia where my husband and I were first stationed with the US Army and a missionary asked if I would be willing to let her buy my machine for their kitchen at the mission compound and I could replace mine when I got home. Have a feeling that original Kitchenaid mixer is still cranking it out. It's a 10 star in my book!

Best Mixer Money Can Buy -
I have always known that KitchenAid Mixers were the best ever. I have long borrowed my mother's and mother-in-law's for the purpose of making big batches of cookies, homemade icing, and cake mixes. As I began an at-home baking business, I knew I would need something heavy duty to take care of the things I needed. My husband surprised me with this KitchenAid mixer for Christmas, and I have not stopped baking since! It has a wonderful and powerful motor, great attachments, and a huge bowl that allows me to easily do double batches of batter. Everything is easy to clean as well. My mixer has found a permanent spot on my counter. If you know a baker, this is easily the best gift for them!! I cannot wait to get another one :)

I make a lot of whole grain bread, and it now comes out better than ever before . As a matter of fact, every thing I make with it does. I highly recommend this Kitchenaid mixer.
