The Pro 5 is a bowl lift type mixer. See the handle to the right of the mixer in the picture? You just lift the bowl up and down with this handle to easily remove the bowl and whips.

This Gloss Cinnamon Red KitchenAid Stand Mixer has a high gloss red finish, that is a deeper hue of red than the Empire Red version of this series.

Why did I wait? - I have always wanted a stand mixer but I had a Kitchen Aid mixer that worked just fine so, I never spent the money. Then I realized that the mixer I had been using all of these years would last forever so I took the plunge and bought what I'd been dreaming of. I love this mixer. It does all of the work for me in half of the time while I am free to do something else. Yes, it sometimes dusts the floor and counter with powered sugar or flour but so did I when I used my hand mixer. I love it and love the attachments. This is the best price available.

Love it - Love everything about it! The Kitchenaid 5 quart Professional has made my cake business so much easier! The only thing is sometime is throws my powdered sugar and or flour out of the bowl even on the lowest speed. But none the less still an awesome buy!
