Love my Kitchen Aid!! - My only regret is that I waited until my late 50's to get one. I always worried about it sitting out on the counter, but everybody that comes to my kitchen comments on the great color (Pear). Before this, I had never made a pound cake in my life; now I've made at least eight. It makes the Hubby and neighbors real happy. Everything Kitchens had the best price and my order came quickly and well packed. Mine also came with a special offer for a Kitchen Aid Food Grinder that I love.

KitchenAid Artisan Mixer - Very powerful. Two problems though. You can't scrape the sides because the beater rotates around the side of the bowl and catches on the spatula. Also, more liquid type materials can pool at the bottom of the bowl and don't get mixed. Again, you can't get to them with a spatula. You have to turn the mixer off to do so. On a positive note, it whips cream and egg whites super fast.
