Broken beaters - |

I had my 5 speed Kitchenaid hand mixer for almost 3 years now. I loved it so much, it mixed all my cookie dough with ease. Now the beaters broke and I'm wondering weather it's worth it to buy a new mixer or just the beaters. I think it should have lasted longer than 3 years. I may just buy another brand. You should be able to buy replacement beaters at a fraction of the cost. The replacement beaters are worth it!

I have two KitchenAid hand mixers and they are great, but I also have broken beaters and am on line to order another set. I think you should consider re-designing the beaters to make them stronger!

I used my last Kitchenaid mixer for years and the motor finally wore out. I had this mixer for less than a year and one of the beaters completely separted from the post. Very disappointed. Will try another make next time.

just like the rest i have broken beaters. must be a flaw in the beaters if so many people are having the same problem. kitchenaid should be replacing them for free if they want return customers

Beaters broken - |

Like the other reviewer, I too broke both my beaters. I have only had the mixer about 15 months, when the first one broke. Now I am on this site searching for replacements. Ugh....

The mixer is awsome. It has the power they say it does, BUTTTT I've went thru two sets of beaters in 14 months. The first replacement was free, now I'm using my daughters' GE mixer! The little wire beaters are flimsy and break or bend when mixing cookie dough. I've snapped all the wires loose making chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin cookies. Would not recommend the beaters-and what good is a mixer without beaters?
