Wow...I bought this Blendtec machine after watching a demo in Gilbert AZ and put it to the test. First of all I made 6 2 lb loafs and used the auto knead function, it did not even break a sweat and then turned itself off automatically. The gluten formation was perfect. Then I whipped up one egg white into a beautiful meringue...awesome. To top it off I then made ice cream in the blender in 30 seconds, soup in 2 minutes and pureed a couple of cups of beans for a recipe in about 20 seconds. I love the 10 speeds, pulse button and timer buttons, really makes short work of any recipe you need to whip up. I have used a Bosch Mixer for over 30 years and this beats that machine to pieces! Love the small footprint so it stays on my counter all the time.Would highly recommend the Blendtec Mix and Blend to everyone!!

Have owned for a mo. This Blendtec Mix n Blend machine makes great bread dough and smoothies. This is a very powerful mixer/ blender combo, very fast, so noise level is not a problem. They send 2 mixer shafts that will break if I make a mistake bind something up. This protects the inner gears, but I doubt I will ever break even one. Best bang for the buck!

I've had many stand mixers and never been happy with them. This Blendtec Mixer is everything I've been searching for. It is loud, but it's a machine made for heavy duty jobs. This Blendtec Mixer makes large batch bread dough perfectly and the auto knead button is a phenomenal addition.
I hesitated for a long period of time between this machine and a Bosch Mixer and chose this one for the extra power and added features and I'm thrilled that I did.
I've never had a stand mixer that compares to this one. I'M IN LOVE... Finally, a stand mixer that does the job. I'm also impressed with the pre-programmed mixing cycles all I can say is WOW- I just Love It...
This Blendtec mixer is WORTH THE INVESTMENT!

This thing is awesome. More powerful and better circulation than any blender I've had before. I frequently use it instead of a food processor. Only down side is after 5 years of use I need to replace the blender jar which has seized up. I think its worth it.

Debated purchase for better part of year, finally chose this over the Bosch. It has the same warrantee, complete basic attachments, and a much larger motor. It performs excellently, meringues are light & easy, bread is kneaded uniformly, ice crushed w/o hesitation. The only drawback, and it is one to consider, is the loudness of the unit under load, especially during the kneading function. If your kitchen is on the smaller size, you will need ear protection. This is not an exaggeration. Our kitchen is a ‘U’ shape and measures 10’ x 10’, opening up to the kitchen table area, making the complete kitchen a 10’ x 20’ box. We cannot operate the unit in the heart of the kitchen, but on the edge of the counter closest to the table with a coat placed over the whole unit during the kneading cycle. I had a friend with a Bosch over & she admitted it is a bit louder (not much), but reminded me it has twice the motor (Bosch is 600 – 700 watts). Also, the Blendtec kneads quicker and the blender is much more efficient and performs twice as well as the Bosch blender. Overall, I would purchase this item again, just wish I had been pre-warned regarding the noise.
