A: Try looking at http://chefschoice.com/page2f_rec4.html. There are a few KrumKake maker recipes there and the first one uses melted butter.

Q: What is the difference between 839 & 839SE Krumkake Maker? Does it take 2 min for making one cookie

A: The only difference between these KrumKake irons is that the Special Edition 839SE has a brushed finish with ridges on the top instead of a smooth polished finish like the regular model 839. The average time for making one cookie is two minutes.
