This beautifully designed machine has a die cast aluminum body and brew head. The coffee/espresso machine features a
stainless steel inside cavity and drip tray. The unit measures 15.75" x 15" x 15.75" and weighs 20.5 lbs and has a one year warranty.

Q: Can you use ESE pods with this Krups Combination Coffee / Espresso Machine?

A: Almost all non-capsule home espresso machines will work with E.S.E. pods, generally using the machine's "espresso pod filter basket". Many machines are designed specifically to be used with pods. These machines will produce better results than a machine that simply can use pods. Lastly, there are machines that use only espresso pods and cannot use manually tamped ground coffee. These produce the best results from espresso pods.

Q: Do any of the plastic parts in this machine (that come in contact with hot water) contain BPA? And do the plastic parts have numbers, indicating that the parts do not contain BPA?

A: The plastics parts of the Krups Espresso Machine XP2280 are BPA free.

Q: Does this have a built in grinder feature (ie does it grind full size whole beans into the grounds.

A: The Krups XP2280 does not feature a bean grinder.

Q: We did not receive the Auto-Cappuccino accessory part in the box we received as a Christmas gift. The model number is XP2280. Should this device have been included?

A: The auto-cappuccino accessory part is not included with the purchase of the XP2280. You may wish to contact Krups directly at 1-800-526-5377 to inquire about availability.

Q: Does the XP2280 shut off automatically after a period of time?

A: The Krups Model XP2280 does offer an auto off feature.
