Q: Is the water level indicator external or internal?
A: The water level indicator is external. The water tank is translucent with water level windows.

Q: What type of filter is required?
A: The KM1010 can use either a standard # 4 paper filter or the Krups 049-33 Gold Tone Filter.

Q: Does it have pause & serve?
A: The Krups Manual Coffee Maker KM1010 offers the pause and serve feature. This feature allows removal of carafe at anytime during the brew cycle.

Q: Is this coffee maker programable?
A: This coffee maker is not programmable. It features an LED on/off switch and an automatic 2 hour shut off.
