This Krups Personal Blender features 5 speeds + ice crushing: includes slow speed for delicate blending, ice crush function with automatic pulsing for even results. This Krups blender food processor provides easily removable, waterproof cap for clean preparation and detachable blades for easier, thorough cleaning. Krups Blenders feature illuminated ergonomic control panel for visibility and an oversized collar for stability and safe handling. This Krups 60 oz Blender includes a heavy-duty die cast metal base for stability and durability and a heavy-duty thermal shock resistant glass jar that can hold 60 oz.

About Krups:
Founded back in 1846 in the little town of Wald in North Rhine-Westphalia, Krups is well known for their coffee makers, espresso machines, blenders, toaster ovens, and food processors. They were extremely well known in the early 1950's over in Switzerland and Germany before progressing over to the United States.
