Q: Is this a new model? Never saw one like this. I am 80 years young but need a reasonable price regular coffee maker. Please let me know.
A: It looks like we started carrying this Krups coffee maker around October of 2010, so it is fairly new, but not just out. If you meant new, as in not used, then, yes, this coffee maker is brand new. Hope that helps.

Q: Does this model have an auto shutoff?
A: The heating plate will maintain the temperature in the carafe for up to 2 hours after which the machine shuts
off automatically. This is for safety and convenience. For best results brew only as much coffee as you will
drink within 30-60 minutes, or transfer the coffee to a thermal carafe immediately after brewing. The machine
will automatically turn off after 2 hours. This setting is not adjustable.

Q: I broke the glass carafe for this model, where can I go and buy another today or tomorrow? I live in Dallas, Tx.
A: Everything Kitchens does not carry the replacement carafes. You may wish to contact Krups directly at 1-800-526-5377 to inquire about locations in your area.
