Q: Can this grind up chicken and rabbit bones? And how noisy is it? Would appreciate knowing the db level.

A: The LEM #8 Meat Grinder will not grind any type of bones. The unit is not very noisy. The Decibel Level is not available.

Q: Meat Processing Products says that this grinder has steel gears. Who is correct??

A: According to the manufacturer, LEM, the gears in the LEM Model 1113 are plastic. However, LEM does carry the spare parts, such as replacement gears.
