LEM 10 Tray Dehydrator with 12 Hour Timer

LEM Stainless Steel 10 Tray Food / Meat Dehydrator with 12 Hour Timer, this 10 tray stainless steel food dehydrator is built to be dependable and easy to use. The huge 16 sq. feet of shelf space (each tray 16" x 14-1/2") is dried by a rear mounted fan with an 800 watt heating element making dehydrator clean up easy. This LEM Dehydrator features an adjustable thermostat and 12 hour timer will make food dehydration a snap. The food trays are nickel plated. The LEM Food dehydrator will shut off when the preset time has elapsed. Dry pounds of Jerky, bushels of fruit, vegetables and nuts with ease.

Q: How accurate is the thermostat on this model? Some of the complain some of the other manufacturer have is that you need a separate thermometer to get the right temperature.

A: The manufacturer claims that this model is very accurate and I have not heard any complaints suggesting otherwise. It is adjustable up to 150 degrees F.

Q: How easy is it to clean the unit and the trays?

A: You can remove the shelves, and wipe everything down with a wet soapy cloth. No abrasive cleaners should be used.

Q: Just wanting to know if there is any kind of mesh insert a guy could put on the racks, the spacing looks a little far apart.

A: Yes, LEM Products has dehydrator screen material Item# 796A. It comes in a 14" X 85" roll of drying screen material. You simply cut to any size you need. The 1/4" holes enables you to use this dehydrator with smaller fruits and vegetables. This roll will make 5 screens 14" x 16", to fit the LEM Stainless Steel Dehydrator #778. We do not have this on our store's site at this time but if you give us a call we can special order it for you or you can order from LEM at www.lemproducts.com.

LEM Dehydrator - I'm very pleased with my LEM dehydrator - I've made 100 pounds of jerky and dried veg and fruit. Too easy and huge capacity.

Great Commercial Product - I'm a personal chef and I use the LEM Dehydrator to make raw dishes, and other veggie cuisine. This dehydrator has been very useful. I love the heat settings and the timer on it, it makes it so easy and convenient. It's very easy to clean, that's so important for commercial kitchens. Wonderful.

Best for the price. - I have had a few different dehydrators over the last 4 years and now that people are wanting Beef jerky more and are willing to buy, I bought this one. Works very well and I can dehydrate between 12-14 lb of ground meat beef jerky at a time and take between 5-6 hours. No issues with the timer or having to rotate trays. Worth the money.

LEM Dehydrator - I've had several dehydrators over the years, but this one is the best. It's professional grade. Very easy to use, quiet, and powerful. Everything I've tried in it comes out perfect. Been using the LEM Dehydrator every week making jerky, drying fruit, and making fruit leather. Absolutely awesome!
