A: Per LEM this grinder will grind small bones such as found in chicken necks and smaller whole fish. It is recommended that the larger grinding plate be used for this application.

Q: How wide does the clamp open in inches that is used to clamp the LEM #10 Hand Crank Meat Grinder? Is this a good grinder for grinding top sirloin meat? Will it grind the meat into hamburger meat? If not, what model do you recommend that will do the job? I am only interested in hand models that clamp onto tables.

Purchaser - Do not buy this product. It's construction and design are inferior. The grooves in the hull of the "grinder" for example are so shallow that it can only pulverize or crush the meat. Quality meat "grinders" actually "chop" the meat, hence the inclusion of a" cutting blade". If you are interested in producing" meat paste" then this is the product for you.

LEM821 Good Sturdy Product - Needs One Thing - This is a sturdy product that works as advertised. My only issue is that the clamp to hold the meat grinder down isn't big enough. I can't clamp this to my kitchen counter or table. Both are normal size. The clamp just doesn't open wide enough. I'm forced to use a smaller / thinner utility table to use the meat grinder.

As Advertised! - I love my LEM #10 Stainless Steel Meat Grinder / Stuffer. It does everything I had hoped for! A great product for the small time grinder/stuffer.
