- I would like to know the dimensions of the trays please as I have a failed older American Harvest Snackmaster here that I would like to see if I can use the trays if I buy this one. Thank you.

I've been using this food dehydrator for over 5 years now, making jerky and, we use it all the month of august to dehydrate our garlic that we grow, about 800 pounds, then we grind it into powder, it's the best, both our dehydrator and of course our powdered garlic which is PURE garlic nothing added ,Regards Vince Flow, Wal-Mart's don't sell this model anymore, but a cheap model which in my opinion is not adequate, ( could be classified as JUNK. We have 5 model FD-61's, and they are still going strong (Posted on 6/21/09)

A Wonderful Food Dehydrator Review by Guest

I've had my FD 61 Food dryer for about 8 years. I use this Nesco Food Dehydrator probably 4 to 6 times a year and fill it to capacity every time. It dries fruit perfectly and the jerky, well I can't make enough. I make several cooking back to back often the food dehydrator will run nearly 24 hours straight. Word quickly is out that I'm making jerky and the invasion has begun. The only complaint is that the food dehydrator isn't big enough and after back to back cleaning the racks take some soaking and a corn silk brush to get clean. Those are not complaints, just facts of life. I love mine.
