Woks from Everything Kitchens are available in two main styles: those with flat bottoms and those with rounded bottoms. Flat-bottomed woks were created to allow for direct stovetop cooking, whereas round-bottomed woks require use of a wok stand to be able to set them down on a cooking surface, allowing for rotation and variable hot spots.
Woks are used mainly for high-heat stir frying but can also be used as a deep-fry pan. Since the Woks are v-shaped, they tend to hold the heat more towards the center of the pan. The heat then distributes out in an even “v” which can be used to the cook's advantage.
Woks from Everything Kitchens range in size from 11" (small for woks) to 14.1" with varying depths. Our wok brands include Le Crueset, Swiss Diamond, and Paderno-World Cuisine. Most of our woks include a non-stick coating which allows for simple cooking, reduced burning, and easy cleanup.
