Q: Is the Norpro Atlas Pasta Machine stainless steel?

A: The machine is chrome plated but the blades for cutting the pasta are stainless steel. Thank you.

Q: Are the internal gears metal or plastic?

A: It is chrome plated steel with Nickel-plated steel rollers. There are two steel gears on the side where the knob is, not viewable unless the machine is taken apart.

Q: Can the Norpro Atlas Pasta Machine be motorized?

A: The manufactuer states that it can be motorized by purchasing an Atlas motor designed for the Atlas Pasta Machine. Norpro does not sell the Atlas Motor, so they can purchase the motor from another company who sells it.
