Not What it Seems - |

It looks great on the counter but thats where the great stops. We waited a long time for this as it was on backorder. Sorry we didn't take a different one now. A regular bowl doesn't fit up next to the popper. About only half the amount of popcorn put in actually pops and much of it pops after it comes out creating a large mess. We are avid popcorn eaters and this machine shuts off after only 2 small poppings and needs to cool off. Took us 1/2 hr to make 2 large bowls of popcorn. Not worth the expense.

Huge Disappointment - |

What a fabulous looking piece of machinery! Popped the first batch and lost 2/3 of the kernals with the wonderfully popped popcorn. Then threw the unpopped corn back in and lost haft of that. So, ok, tried a new batch again with no better result. Popcorn flying everywhere. This was Walmart brand popcorn. So I called the company. They INSISTED that I was using the wrong popcorn and had a big explanation of why that was so. Orville Redenbachers WILL work, they said. SO...bought the expensive stuff 'cause I didn't beleive it. THE SAME THING HAPPENED. Bad mechanical design. I intend to send them the popcorn and pictures I took of the process. NOT WORTH THE MONEY unless you want a really good looking popcorn popper on your counter for show.
