Saeco Odea Go Overview
The Saeco Odea GO is one of the units that Saeco has redesigned with the help of BMW Designworks USA and is a work of art while sitting on your counter and an artist while creating your favorite coffee. The heart of the unit is the Saeco Aroma system that injects the grounds with hot water prior to the brewing cycle ensuring that you extract the maximum flavor with every drink. If you prefer traditional brewed espresso then you can switch the Saeco Aroma system off, and then back on whenever you please. Every drink starts with a precisely ground coffee bean that is processed with the ceramic grinder at one of the 5 different grinder settings. After the grinder the coffee is tamped and brewed at 15 bar of pressure a thick crema is produced with every brew. The used puck is then ejected into the dreg drawer (which holds 14 pucks) and the unit is ready to brew another drink. If you decide to incorporate milk with your drink it can be quickly steamed or frothed with the use of the Pannarello wand, which produces steam in 3 directions allowing maximum frothing.

The Bottom Line on the Saeco Odea GO
As a part of the Odea line the GO is still in the mid level pricing bracket for Saeco espresso machines, while it may not rival other units in price it does provide a ton of features for the price. This is a fully automatic espresso machine that will allow you to create any espresso, latte, americano, or cappuccino under the sun without being overly complex. This unit is one step below the Giro since it does not have the Rapid Steam Boiler or the Optidose system. This unit is one step above the Vienna line with a 1500 watt power supply versus the 1250 of the Vienna.
