Saeco Talea Giro Plus Overview
The Saeco Giro Plus is a great addition to the new Talea coffee line that has been designed by Designworks USA branch of BMW. Some of the great features on the Talea Giro Plus are some of the latest and greatest of Saeco's innovations these features include the dial interface of the Giro, Saeco's brewing system (SBS), the adjustable disc grinder which is a ceramic piece and this unit also incorporates the Touch Lift technology for the drip tray.
The Saeco Milk Island
Your milk can now be frothed directly into your cup if you decide to add a milk island (from Saeco) with your espresso machine. The milk island is really a great addition to the machine, when is use the island draws in steam and creates froth with a simple turn of the dial, and when your done it is easily removable so cleanup is quick.
Pannarello Steam Wand
Another change to the unit came with the redesign of the Pannarello steam wand, which can be used to manually froth milk or dispense hot water for tea.
The Giro Volume Adjustment
When you need to change the amount of espresso or coffee brewed you can just simply turn the dial, which really allows you to customize your favorite drink.
New Look and Feel

The Bottom Line for the Talea Giro Plus
This unit is designed to be simple, straightforward, and easy to use while still maintaining the customization of the any coffee drink. This unit does have the same specifications of the Talea Touch plus, but does not have the backlit amber touch screen, in place of that are the units indicator lights and the standard Giro interface. The advantages over the Odea Giro are the fact that this unit can accept pre-ground coffee, and that this unit is equipped with the Intenza water filter from the factory.

 love my Saeco Talea Giro -
I have had this Saeco Espresso machine for a couple of weeks, and really like it. My kitchen is much cleaner now that I don't have to grind beans, etc and the coffee is great. It took about 10 shots before I started to get consistent strong shots, but now its awesome. The steamer makes great smooth froth. This makes much better espressos than my Breville ever did. i thought my wife would use the hot water dispenser for tea, but its not quite hot enough for her.
