Nice Little Citrus Juicer -   October 30, 2008 I've had this Toastmaster Citrus juicer for a couple of years, now, and it works great for an inexpensive product. It is made of plastic and comes with an electric base and cord. The cord is approximately sixteen inches long and can be stored wrapped around underneath and inside the bottom of the base. On top of the base is a removable reservoir/serving pitcher, a removable insert that juts up through the middle of the reservoir's hollow-centered pillar, which activates one of two ribbed 'caps' that when you push the fruit down onto it, activates the motor. The Toastmaster Citrus Juicer also has a strainer to strain out the pulp. The cap will turn one way and at times reverse - which I haven't figured out why it does that. It does a better than decent job of 'pressing' all the juice from the citrus fruit and the strainer does a good job, as well, at keeping most of the pulp and seeds from the juice in the reservoir. If you like a little pulp in your juice, just toss it in after you’ve juiced your fruit, sans seeds of course. The Toastmaster Citrus Juicer works with lemons and oranges. I haven't tried limes, yet, because we're not very fond of limes. The only 'con' to this Electric Citrus Juicer would be that the middle insert that activates the 'juicing cap' can get lost. Where it's not permanently fixed to the motor, it can come off easily and be misplaced, which is what happened with me. I am now trying to find a replacement, but I haven't been able to locate a Toastmaster site that offers replacement parts. In summary, this is a nice little citrus juicer that works as it should and has held up well, although I don't use it all the time, just every now and then. If you're interested in buying a juicer, but you're not sure how much you might use it and you don't want to dole out a lot of cash for the higher-priced versions, this one's for you. I give it four out of five stars, mainly because of my one complaint.
