A: Yes, the 32130 Stainless Steel Cabbage Shredder by The Sausage Maker ships free within the 48 contiguous US states. I'm sorry but we do not sell any accessories for this item.

Q: How thin does it slice? 1mm, 2mm etc.

A: Per the manufacturer this Sausage Maker Stainless Steel Cabbage Shredder slices from shavings to 1/4".

Q: What keeps it anchored to a food collection container? Without any hooks on the ends, it looks like it would slide all over the collection bowl as the cabbage was being shredded.

A: The Cabbage Shredder does not have hooks or anchors of any sort. However, the blades are so sharp that it does not require much pressure to slice the cabbage. So you would hold on to the bottom plate while moving the cabbage holder back and forth. Some smaller customers have had someone hold the bottom plate steady while they move the cabbage holder back and forth. You may also dip the shredder down inside your container to steady the shredder.

Sausage Maker - I bought this cabbage shredder last last fall to use to make my homemade sauerkraut. Because it slices so thin, I have to say this was the best batch I've ever made. The thinness really makes the difference. Quality of tool is as good as a surgeons'. It will definitely last a lifetime, or two or three. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.
