I recently purchased the Vitamix XL to use in my own kitchen at home and must say that VitaMix Corporation hit a grandslam homerun with the XL. Yes, this is a commercial Vitamix Blender but it really makes a excellent addition to my own home kitchen as the many uses for it are only limited to one's imagination/creation. It is not only easy to use but is actually FUN to use as I have found no limitations with it so far. The Vitamix XL may not be the least expensive unit made but it is definitely worth the price as it is in a class of it's own. Jim in Newtown, PA.
