A: Both blenders will give you similar results. The Waring MX1000XTP has slightly more HP with a 3.5 hp motor v.s. the Blendtec's 3 hp motor. The Blendtec is preprogrammed while the Waring is manual so depending on your preference one may be better for you for that reason. Also the Blendtec has a 64 oz or 96 oz jar depending on the unit you are referring to while this particular model has the "petite" Waring jar that is 32 oz. The equivalent model that has a 64 oz jar is MX1000XTX.
