Q: Does this use a block of ice or cubes? Does it crush the ice or shave it? Can the fineness be adjusted? I am looking for a very fine shaved ice product.

A: You can use any shaped ice as long as it fits in the "ice hopper". It shaves the ice and there is no adjustment for shaving. It shaves to make snow cones, slushies, and party drinks.
