Waring Pro Electric Home Meat Slicer

    good tool - This is a pretty good slicer for home use. With a bit of practice you can slice deli thin easily. Clean-up is fairly easy... for a food slicer. Most complaints I've read about this tool seem to be more a result of inexperience with this type of tool, than defective product. Buy one and learn to use it.

    Food Slicer - I have sliced a lot of food with mine. It is a little under power for cheese, but I usually cut the cheese down to cracker size slices and that works great. Yes I am another that is disappointed at the parts available. At a party, someone must have thrown away the plastic gasket and now I have a useless machine that I cant fine the part for! If parts were available for this food slicer, I would be perfectly satisfied!

    fs150 slicer - works ok ....but when cleaning. there is a 4 in plastic ring or guide behind the blade that broke when when reassembling rendering the unit useless, no parts available on waring web site. ring is too flimsy

    Great slicer - Until the plastic gasket breaks and you can't replace it! I am looking for a brand to replace it with that I won't have to replace after a year.

    Waring Pro Food Slicer - I received this food slicer last week. This weekend I had fun slicing all kinds of food. I sliced Potatoes, Raw Beef Roast to make jerky (slightly frozen), and Bread. The Slicer worked great on everything. Clean up is not to bad and the blade comes off easy. I put a little PAM on the slide to make it move better and then wiped it up after I was done. For home use it is a good buy.
