Waring Pro Blender - Professional Blender (PBB204)

Waring Pro Blender -   January 8, 2009 I have the brushed stainless steel blender model and it looks great. The glass Carafe is nice and stays looking great. It also does a good job of circulating the contents so everything gets blended. Two speeds is plenty. The things I didn't like was the carafe breaking. I had the blade section go bad and the Blender Carafe broke whan I tried to un-do the blade section. Unlike most blenders,..the blade section does not come off the bottom. Instead it is assembled onto the glass and stays there. I had ordered a new blade section before trying to un-do the old one,.and once I broke the glass,..I had to order an entire new carafe. Argh! Another issue was the lack of power and it's repeated breaking. My wife and I make smoothies and use frozen strawberries. The blender almost has to be running when you put them in. Twice my wife has broken it. The first time I took it appart and soldered together a hair sized wire in the motor. This time I think I'm just going to buy a better blender.
