Customer Questions:

Q: are there any recipe books for this?
A: We do not offer blending recipe books. However, you will find an abundance of recipe books at your local book store or library.

Q: Hi there! I was wondering what is the difference between Waring MX1050XTX and MX1050XTP? The 1050XTX is 64oz. and 1050XTP is 48oz., but the XTP is more expensive than the XTX. I just can't tell the difference between them by your description. Thanks a lot for your help!
A: The only difference between the Waring MX1050XTX and the Waring MX1050XTXP is the size of the blending carafe. The MX1050XTX comes with a 64 oz. carafe and the MX1050XTXP comes with a 48 oz. container. The blender base is exactly the same. The price on the MX1050XTXP is higher because it is far less popular so we order less from Waring so our cost is higher.

Q: Hi Sir, Is a model CAC95 - Waring Blender Jar - 64 oz. BPA-Free Co polyester Jar for use w/ the Waring Blender MX1050XT?
A: Yes, the CAC95 part number will fit the MX1050XTX Waring Xtreme Blender.

Q: Can the mx1050xtx be use with the vitamix dry container and dry blade?
A: We are told that it will, however, it is not recommended.

Q: What are the dimensions? I know it says it is comparable to the Vitamix. Also, is the jar a solid piece or does the blade come out for cleaning? Thanks for your help with these questions.
A: The Waring Commercial MX1050XTX blender measures 18"x8½"x8¼". The jar is a "one piece construction" design and disassembly is not required to clean.

Q: Is the jar on this blender one piece? What is the 'dishwasher safe removable jar pad? Thank you.
A: The jar is one piece. The removable jar pad is what the jar sits on so that spills do not get into the motor area and will run down the front or back of the blender instead. It also acts as a sound barrier.

Q: Can the MX1050XTX blend an avocado seed/
A: The manufacturer does not recommend blending avocado seeds in this blender. It will damage or dull the blade.

Reviews: 10     Average Customer Review is 4.5:

Waring MX1050 - I had a boarder who brought one of these Waring Extreme blender machines into our house. She's had it for 7+ years and it still runs fine. She used it while trucking so it went through some abuse but no sign of wear. When she moved out I knew I'd have to replace it. This Waring blender is a great deal and well worth the price! This will far outlast other machines. Replacement parts are good price too compared to other leading brands, but I don't foresee me needing those. Makes awesome smoothies and grinds nuts to make nut flours.

Review - A sturdy machine that works exactly as advertised. There is no comparison to the speed and power of this machine to the kind of common brands of blenders you see in the department stores. I've had both, and this Waring MX1050 Blender wins hands down.

Super Blender! - Very happy with our Waring MX1050XTX. We tried a VitaMix CIA model, but took it back. It did a good job on smoothies, but the ice cream was terrible, the soup just plain silly, and we decided it was not worth the high price. Then we tried a Ninja NJ600 -- terrible, cheaply made, left chunks of fruit in the smoothies (lumps), difficult to clean -- so back it went. Then tried the Waring. Perfection! Does at least as good a job on smoothies as the VitaMix. Turns ice cubes into powdery snow in seconds. Amazing power, extremely well made and sturdy, yet quieter than the VitaMix. Given the price difference, this is a no-brainer! Buy the Waring.

Super Great Blender and Great Price - I use this Waring blender to make "vegetable shakes" looked at the other Vita Mix type blenders but didn't want to spend the money. This blender is great, blends the vegetables very fine and I use it almost every day.

Waring MX1050XT - I've used this blender for close to a year now making veggie/fruit smoothies, ice drinks, etc. without a problem. It has the speed and power to blend everything I've tried without bogging down. Excellent quality and reasonable price compared to Blendtec or Vitamix plus I've had good results with Waring products over the years (replaces my 25 yr old Waring blender which still works). My only gripe: I wish it were an inch shorter as to fit under my kitchen cabinets.

Waring MX1050: Dependable and Competitive - I purchased the Waring blender in 2010 to make smoothies for the kids. I'm very satisfied with the quality and power of the MX1050. I don't need the additional controls and timers. The simple buttons work fine and are less complicated. My neighbors purchased a Vitamix for almost $200 more. I think I got a better deal.

MX1050XTX - The perfect blender! Very efficient, fast, and well made. The powerful motor can handle just about anythig without any difficulties. This blender puts all the blenders I've purchased in the past to shame. It's the blender I should have purchased all along. If your looking for a durable, reliable, powerful blender- this is it.

MX1050XT - I like it. We use it almost every day. It is powerful and easy to clean. I use it to make vegetable and fruit mix. The result is very good. It is a best buy in term of the usage, cost, and satisfaction. I have recommended this Waring Commercial Extreme Blender to friends.

MX1050XTX - This Waring machine is very well built and powerful. I've put some pretty tough raw veggies in this with a little liquid and it had no problem reducing it to a smooth consistency in a few seconds. I eat a lot of raw veggies and this is the best way I know to do that. The kids love this for super fast ice-cream. I just put frozen organic berries in with some fresh milk and blend for a few seconds to make a rich nutritious treat. For half the price of a Vitamix this is much better built. I love it!

failed after 8 months - I used the Waring blender about 5 minutes a week for 8 months and was happy with it. The high speed motor makes very smooth smoothies, it's not overly loud, the carafe pours well, and unlike the Vitamix, it never needs help from a tamper to blend. (I bought a Vitamix in the mid 1990's. I never liked it much. The tamper is a real pain. (And their new models still need tampers!) It didn't blend as smoothly as the Waring. It lasted about 10 years. Vitamix wanted $100 for the broken part that should have cost about $5, so I decided forget Vitamix. ) Be aware that while Waring advertises the motor speed as 45,000 RPM, the manual says it's 30,000 RPM. Motor speed makes all the difference in a blender because it determines the speed at which the blades move and that determines how finely it can blend. Last week the blender stopped working. The power button turns the machine on, but the low, high, and pulse buttons don't start the motor. There is no sound at all, no indication that it's trying to turn the motor on. Apparently the electronics failed. I have had bad luck with electronic membrane keypads in the past and was skeptical because of all the vibration the blender produces, but I told myself that Waring must know what it's doing and has a reputation to protect so wouldn't produce a shoddy design. That was wrong. I should have trusted my instincts and gotten one of the models with conventional switches. I don't think I'll return the Waring blender for repair because I have no reason to believe that it will last any longer next time, and for the price of shipping the 18 lb Waring blender across country, I can buy a cheap blender that won't blend as smoothly, but will last much longer. The closest Waring service center is 95 miles away, so taking it there would cost even more money. I feel like Waring has ripped me off. My mother still uses the Waring "14 Speed Super Robot Blender" our family bought ca. 1970. They don't make 'em like they used to.
