 Big bang for the bucks -
I have had this grinder for two deer seasons and have ground up deer meat on 6 different deer. This grinder works great! It will grind cuts of meat as fast as you can feed them in the machine. Everything is very easy to clean after use and the only negative thing I could say is maybe the inlet opening for the tray and meat shoud be a little larger.I slice my meat strips into aprox. 2"square strips and this grinder eats them right up and spits them out without hardly slowing down. I just finished grinding up a 95 lb deer in aprox 1hour. Keep in mind this was befor skinning and deboning so I would guess I ground up aprox 40-45lbs of meat. I have never had a problem with this unit except for the random clunking I had with one deer grind this year. Turns out there was a bullet from my 243 that made its way into the grinder and even though it clunked for close to a 1/2 a hour through on and off use. there was no major damage on any item in this grinder. the 100 grain bullet did round off most of the sharpe edges that i'm sure it had on the bullet but this grinder held it's own when even trying to grind up a bullet. I may not buy this unit for commercial use because of the limited feed rate. But I would definitly buy it for any home or cabin use.
