Tailor slicing thickness from 0.3 mm to 8 mm thick with the 24 settings on the variable slicing disc of the Sous Chef Breville Food Processor. This wide range allows you to make something as thin as potato chips and something as wide as tomato slices for barbecued hamburgers. The shaft attachments (slicing disks) are made out of reinforced stainless steel for durability and ease of cleaning.

Extra-Wide Feed Chute

The processing attachments connect to the base of the bowl through a watertight seal. No leaks while pouring, and the liquid capacity is increased by up to 25%.

ITS A BRILLIANTLY DESIGNED FOOD PROCESSOR FINALLY SURPASSING CUISINART BY FAR Review by MET
THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A REVIEW WAY OVER THE TOP BUT I HAVE BEEN SHOCKED A HOW FINE THIS NEW VERY POWERFUL FOOD PROCESSOR REALLY IS! I HAVE BEEN VERY UNHAPPY AS A ONCE AVID FAN OF THE MOST FAMOUS OF THE FOOD PROCESSORS FOR SO MANY YEARS. I GOT SICK AND TIRED OF FEARING FOOD POISONING WHEN IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO CLEARN THE THEIR BOWL PROCESSOR WITH ITS UNREACHABLE CREVICES AND REPAIRS TO THE EVERY BREAKING STEM HAVING TO SHIP BACK TO CONNECTICUT ONLY THEN TO BE TOLD HOW MUCH I WOULD HAVE TO PAY HAVING HAD TO SHIP IT FIRST.
ALONG CAME A SUGGESTION TO LOOK AT THE NEW REVILED 1200 WATT MONSTER!
THE MOST I EVERY WORKED WITH WAS THE 600 LARGE CUISINART WHICH WOULD CLUTCH TRYING TO DEAL WITH A NORMAL QUANTITY TWO LOAF BREAT DOUGH ALWAYS CAUSING THE MOTOR TO STALL THEN TO BREAK THE CIRCUIT BREAKER.
ON THE VERY FIRST USE THE PROBLEMS WERE TO GET USED TO THE SHEER POWER AND TO OVER USE BY SECONDS HAVING TO USE A QUARTER OF THE TIME NORMALLY USED.
OTHERWISE THE DOUGH WOULD BECOME TOO TOUGH TO ACTUALLY EAT WHEN BAKED.
THATS AN INTERESTING PROBLEM TO UNLEARN A LONG TIME OF DOING SOMETHING TIMEWISE.
THAT TOOK A DAY AND THE DOUGHS COME OUT SUPERBLY EASILY AND IN NOT TIME FLAT.
THE LID MUST BE ALIGNED BY THE MAKER'S VERY CLEVER ENGINEERED WAY AND THEN START TIME IS A BREEZE TOO.
SO I STRONGLY RECOMMEND READING THE TRUNCATED INSTRUCTIONS AT A MINIMUM AS IM THE IMPATIENT ONE USUALLY JUT STARTING AND DOING. I LOVE THAT THE BOWL CAN BE FILLED ITH LIQUID AND NOT LEEK AS THERE IS A STEM FITTING PERMANENTLY IN PLACE BUT CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN TO GET THE START UP RITUAL RIGHT SO AS NOT TO CAUSE A LEEK IN THE WASHER AROUND THAT STEM. SOUNDS COMPLIMENTED IT IS NOT. JUST READ THE START UP RITUAL OF BOWL AND LID LOCKING AND ALIGNED WHICH TAKES A SEC TO GETTING IT RIGHT AND ALL WILL BE GOOD FOREVER.
THE OTHER TOOLS WHCH COME IN A FINE PLEXI BOX ARE BRILLIANT TOO.
THE DISCS WORK VERY WELL CAUSE OF THEIR SHARPNESS WHICH I WILL SAY AGAIN ARE TO BE RESPECTED DEEPLY CAUSE OF THEIR SHARPNESS EVEN THE FRENCH FRY MAKER DISK AND STEM AND THE OTHER DISCS AND THE BRILLIANT INSERT SMALLER BOWL WITH ITS SEPARATE VERY SHARP SMALLER BLADE.
I TOOK A LOT OF BLOODY ANNOYING NICKS FROM NOT BEING RESPECTFUL AND SUING THE STEMS NOWHERE NEAR THE BLADES. THE SHARPNESS OF THE BLADES AND THE DISCS ARE THE COOKS BEST FRIEND AS ARE ANY GOOD CHEFS SHARP KNIFES SO BE CAREFUL FROM THE GET GO AND YOUR PROFICIENCY IN THE KITCHEN INCREASES HAPPILY EXPONENTIALLY.!
THIS SMALLER BOWN INSERTS IN THE LARGER BOWL IS OUTWARDLY FLAIRED MAKING QUANTITY QUITE GOOD ENOUGH REMOVING THE NEED FOR THE MINIATURE PROCESSORS ALTOGETHER. IT IS SILENT WHEN RUNNING A PLEASANT THING AND END PRODUCT FROM SAUCES, TO BLENDING SPREADS TO SPICE BLENDING ARE A BREEZE AND COME OUT AS WELL AS YOU ARE A GOOD COOK AFTER GETTING USED TO ITS PROCLIVITIES PER USUAL. SECONDS, NANOSECONDS ETC.
CLEAN UP OF ALL THESE TERRIFIC TOOLS ARE A BREEZE TOO WITH NO FEAR OF FOOD POISONING BECAUSE OF NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THE STUFF YOU SEE AND CANT REACH IN THE BOWLS.
THE PEOPLE I HAVE TALKED TO AT THIS COMPANY ARE PLEASANT AND NOT ON THEIR ANGER PATH WITH ME AS A CUSTOMER.
SO FAR EVERY PRODUCT IVE USED FROM BREVILLE HAS BEEN WELL THOUGHT OUT AND A GENUINE HELP TO ME IN THE KITCHEN NOT AN ALMOST GOOD OR WAY PAST ITS PRIME AND WE ARENT GOING TO CHANGE MODE AS THE MOST FAMOUS FLASH IN THE FIRMAMENT.
IF YOU GET WHO I MEAN. I AM A REAL FAN OF THIS FOOD PROCESSOR IN CASE YOU MISSED MY THRUST.
