It helps me be a better cook!
I have used this mixer to make bread, and pasta repeatedly, as well as some other things. It truly is an amazing unit! The motor is strong, but I don't push the pasta dough all the way through the kneading process. My pasta dough is really tough stuff!!! (I finish it on the board, for a few mins, before wrapping it up for resting.) This is not a "commercial unit". It's a "home unit", and a really good one at that! For kneading bread, it is wonderful all the way through the process. I make bread most weekends, pasta every other, or so. I use the KitchenAid pasta rollers, and cutters, and have found them awesome as well! This truly is a wonderful machine and a permanent addition to my kitchen. End of the review. It helps me be a better cook!
Love, Love Love It
I recently upgraded from my Artisan mixer, and the difference in the 2 mixers are like night and day. This machine is very powerful. I use it for making bread and it kneads without any strain on the motor. The design is attractive, and the machine is outstanding. Highly recommend.
Second stand mixer purchased in a month as the quality of Kitchen Aid mixers is second to none. And what a pleasure working with Everything Kitchens!
Excellent product and price
Really love the mixer. Got it as a Christmas gift. I’ve wanted one for years.
I had to replace my Kitchen aid mixer of 30 years. I was very skeptical of the new mixer. I was so happy. This mixer is great! The bowl snaps into place easily and the size is perfect for big or little batches. would recommend it to any level of home cooks
This model is well made with a metal motor.
The head doesn’t tilt instead you can raise and lower the head with a lever. The included bowl snaps in firmly. You must do correctly.
Overall very happy
I should have bought this mixer years ago. Huge bowl, super powerful, and a joy to use. Stop wasting money on those "cheaper" versions grab one while they are on sale and you won't be sorry.
Simplicity is heaven
I am not much of a cook. I am a busy mom and enjoy the meals that have less involved and are quick and easy. Any appliances in our home that supply that are used quite frequently.
I LOVED that when I received this mixer I didn't read the instructions. I wanted to see how easy it was to figure out on my own. I had no problems figuring out how to put the bowl in (with a bit of effort - my younger kids could not do it as it does take some force), placing the tool on the mixer to stir and the speeds/on and off switch. It is one of those thought through appliances that has everything you need and nothing extra. I ADORE that.
I was disappointed to see the mixer head doesn't move or bend back to get the spoon out of the mixer. I think in my head I thought it would. I wasn't sure how to navigate getting the spoon out of the bowl. Then I realized to just drop the mixing spoon into the bowl and retrieve it after it is disconnected to the mixer. Easy as pie! Haha
My kids LOVE making cookies (5&6 years old) they do all the settings themselves. I wasn't worried with them being around the machine at all. It is stable and secure. We made two batches of cookies in one bowl and it barely filled the bowl to half. I love the size so it is available for larger portions.
Also when the mixer is mixing - it grabs the food from the edges so you don't have to scrape the sides of the bowl to get the food in the center. That is very nice! The stainless steel bowl washes out quickly too not grabbing food.
All in all though, for a QUICK and easy baking experience - this is well worth any extra cost you might have buying a solid built appliance, to have a lasting mixer for years and years as your family grows. Thank you Everything Kitchens for always supplying the best products!
6 quart stand mixer
bought this for my wife, she loves it, the only thing she would have different would be the one that swivels up instead of the bowl lift. I was afraid the one that raises up would not work under my cabinets and I was right, you would have to move the mixer out to the edge of the counter to clear the cabinet above.
Perfect Size! Review by MOMMA-D
I ordered the Silver since I have a stainless steel kitchen. It looks beautiful! I was afraid it would not fit under the cabinets but it does with a 1/4 inch clearance. I struggled getting the bowl set in place. Once I turned it on I was glad the bowel was secure. It is VERY powerful and can handle a LOT of use. So far I made a batch of 4 dozen gluten free peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. I am looking forward to using this during the Holidays!!! For my next batch of cookies I will be buying the mixing attachment that scrapes the bowel while mixing. <3
KitchenAid Mixer 6QT Review by Dawn P
I Love this Mixer! Having 5 kids the 6 QT came in handy. My kids love to cook and make donuts, cake, cookies, pizza, pies and whipping cream. Our list could go on and on. Just the other day we made a triple batch of chocolate chip cookies and this size handled that amount great. I could have probably mixed another dozen in with it. It’s quiet and easy to use. Cleanup is easy even on the machine itself. I rated this 5 stars because I couldn’t find anything wrong with it.
6 Quart KitchenAid Bowl Mixer Review by Cory Ro
This mixer was very user-friendly. All the attachments go on easily, the power button slides nice & it’s a quiet appliance. You can tell that this KitchenAid mixer is high-quality, I’ve never seen a small appliance built so sturdy, made to last a lifetime. We whipped up some muffins in the matter of minutes but with the size of the bowl, we could have made a huge batch which will be perfect for Holidays. Highly recommend, should have got one years ago! Everything Kitchens does not disappoint.
6 Quart KitchenAid Bowl Mixer Review by Mrs. Davis
So far I really love this product. We host a lot of get-togethers in our home and it has allowed us to prep & prepare food in a larger compacity than my old mixer.
It’s not too large and fits nicely on my countertop. I have the Silver one which I feel like is versatile and will go great with any kitchen style. The only issue I’ve experienced so far was figuring out how to connect the bowl to the stand but once I figured it out it was seamless. My favorite part is knowing the bowl is a lot more secure than my artisan mixer.
