This skillet is worth the purchase in many ways Review by

Please do not walk by this product because of the simple marketing on the box. You seriously need to pick this skillet up, feel it, use it, wash it and see how wonderful of an addition it is for your kitchen. My husband and I use this skillet daily and it fits right into our collection. Truly love this selection and would definitely recommend it for anyone that loves to cook as we do.

    My Favorite Skillet! Review by

I thought I had nice cook wear but I was recently gifted this KitchenAid 10 skillet. Wow, am I impressed! I use it practically everyday and I'll admit I generally keep it right on my stove top. It's a perfect weight and it doesn't move around on my glass stove top like some of my other pans do when I'm crating daily meals. It browns perfectly and cooks evenly. I love that I can use it in the oven up to 500 degrees. I use this skillet for perfect eggs and scrambles, grilled sandwiches and searing meats that I then transfer to the oven. Clean up is a breeze and the pan always looks brand new. While cooking, if what i'm preparing can fit in this skillet I choose it over my other skillets every time. I love all my KitchenAid products. When I purchased our KitchenAid dishwasher (the best ever) and our KitchenAid stand mixer I vowed I'd always go to KitchenAid first because they have the best quality. Thank you KitchenAid for making my life in the kitchen easy and fun!

Awesome... KitchenAid does it again !! Review by

The first thing I noticed when I got this skillet was the construction and overall appearance. I have used many different chef-quality skillets over the years and this one is as well made or better than any of those others. The weight is perfect and the welded steel handle is comfortable and makes it easy to manipulate the pan even when flipping eggs for family members who like them over-easy. I used the skillet to make omelets; quesadillas; pancakes; whipped up some tasty grilled cheese sandwiches (I even did a stir fry) and could not find any fault at all. I was able to put a great sear on meats including a pork shoulder roast before I put in the crock pot. You can just about cook anything you want in this pan. The 5-ply copper core construction really helps to distribute the heat evenly and for me this was an added benefit. I have an electric stove top and had issues in the past with the skillet warping over high heat. No such problems with my KitchenAid skillet. Another nice surprise was the nonstick surface. I LOVED this not only because it made cooking easier but the clean up was a breeze...every time !! I just wiped it with a sponge and warm soapy water and it came out looking brand new. Thanks to the fine folks at KitchenAid ...another great product.

    Nice Pan Review by

This pan works great. I like that it is heavy but not too heavy. Cleans up easy in the sink or dishwasher.

I highly recommend this product! Review by

This skillet is well constructed and is another example of the quality of KitchenAid products. It has heft to it and I was quite surprised when I lifted it out of the box since most nonstick skillets that I've had in the past, were light-weight and seemed flimsy. I have experimented with omelets, saluting vegetables, making stir-fry dishes and yes, even searing steaks which, by the way, gave the steak and nice crust which is usually reserved for stainless steel skillets , cast iron, mineral, etc, Clean-up is a breeze and I always wash this type by hand, never the dishwasher, even if it is dishwasher safe. Off hand, I don't remember if this one is. I am very impressed with this product and it has become one of my go-to skillets, and I have many, without a doubt! I highly recommend it and keep up the good work KitchenAid!

Versatile kitchen essential skillet is a must Review by

We've used this skillet for everything from sauteeing escarole (which can be tricky), to searing red meats, to making a wonderful skillet tomato sauce for pasta, to the most perfect omelette we've ever made at home. The only thing I have ear-marked to try that we haven't done yet is risotto. We have a ceramic cooktop (don't judge - one day we hope to convert to gas), and we've been disappointed with a lot of cookware that isn't perfectly flat. That's meant that we have hot spots and cold spots in some of our pots and pans, skillets included (yes, even some big names). Not with this bad boy. The bottom is super-flat and makes great contact with the surface, meaning a wonderful, even heat that we can count on anywhere. The skillet heats up fairly quickly, probably due to its construction, making it a dream to work with. Unlike some other skillets we have, the handle stays cool, and its ergonomic design makes it easy to grip. It's sturdy and feels substantial, but unlike cast-iron, it doesn't feel unwieldy/too heavy. And the clean-up is easy; the non-stick coating is excellent, and doesn't have that slightly tacky feel of some non-stick pans. We love this new essential, go-to skillet and use it every chance we get (even over our Cuisinart, Le Creuset, and Calphalon products). I only wish it came in more colors - I'd love this in a copper or red finish, but the stainless is classic, so we're happy. I was provided this skillet as part of a panel review in exchange for my honest review/feedback. I honestly love this skillet, and am looking forward to replacing some of our less-than-optimal cookware with additional pieces from KitchenAid's line - it's a winner.

KitchenAid has done it again! Review by

During our recently move, this is the only pan we left out of storage and we had just received new pans for our wedding (different brand). After using this KitcheAid pan, it will be hard to go back to the old standards. This skillet is awesome!! We use it for everything! It's a perfect pan if you are just cooking on the stove or if you'd like to finish a dish in the oven. A great replacement for a heavy cast iron skillet (I'm a little weakling)! Added bonus, the five layers heat up the pan quickly AND we will never have to worry about the Teflon flaking off (we have definitely experienced that..yuck!). Also, it looks great. Your neighbors may start getting you confused with one of those chefs from the cooking shows! I would suggest trying out the 5-ply Copper Core pans and I will definitely be purchasing more!
