      • Q:  Hi, I'm from Argentina and I will be by Orlando in early November. the machine can be used in the electric current of my country ?? 220 wats ??
      • A:  Hello Gabriela,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series 5Qt Stand Mixer! What a great item to purchase!

Unfortunately, the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series 5Qt Stand Mixer, has 120V, and by taking the mixer out of the United States, this does void the warranty on the mixer. I would recommend contacting KitchenAid directly to see if there is a 220V mixer available for you to purchase. The phone number for KitchenAid is 1-800-541-6390.

        Thank you,

      • Q:  I am a first time buyer of a KitchenAid. I plan on making lots of breads and cookies..and more. I'm having trouble deciding between the Artisan and the 5 Plus Series. I do like the idea of having a pour spout, but the lift also looks like it would be helpful as well. Any suggestions on which would be the better choice for a first time owner? Thank you.
      • A:  Hello Jewel!

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series 5Qt Stand Mixer!
You will absolutely love having a KitchenAid mixer! I am happy that you contacted us for advice!!

The KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer has 325 watts of power, versus the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series mixer has 525 watts of power. The KitchenAid Artisan mixer, is a very powerful mixer for having 325 watts. I have an Artisan at home, and I absolutely love my mixer, however, I do not use mine to make breads. While the Artisan mixer would be substantial for what you would be making, I would definitely recommend a higher power watt mixer if you're going to be mixing larger quantities, or just a lot of dough mixing in general. With the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series having 525 watts of power, this mixer will definitely be more beneficial for you in your dough mixing capacities.

There are positives and negatives with both mixers and how the bowl is locked into place that I want to address as well. The KitchenAid Artisan mixer, is the tilt head model and the bowl is easier to place on the bowl, versus the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series mixer, which is the bowl lift design. I have heard from customers in the past, that the bowl is harder to put on a bowl lift mixer. There are 3 points of contact for the bowl to lock into place. You would place the bowl on the arms of the mixer one side at a time, the push the bowl down towards the back of the bowl so that it make the 3rd point of contact on the back of the mixer. It has been told to me that you would have to use some force to lock the bowl in it's place. This may be difficult for some, and for others this may not.

I hope this answers your question in regards to your first time purchasing a KitchenAid mixer! If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to email us, or contact us at 1-866-852-4268.

        Have a wonderful day Jewel!

      • A:  Hello Jan,

We appreciate you reaching out to us with your inquiry!

The KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series 5 Qt Stand Mixer, is the bowl-lift design, where there is a handle on the side the mixer that you would use to lift the bowl up and down! The head of the mixer does not tilt back.

Hope this helps! Enjoy your day Jan!

      • Q:  I am making cheesecake balls and would like to know what accessory to use with the cream cheese. I have the kitchen aid professional 5 plus.
      • A:  Hello Debbie,

Thank you for your interest in the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series 5Qt Stand Mixer.

The best accessory to use while beating softened cream cheese is the flat beater. You would

want to allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature so it will break up & cream

        easier for you.

I hope this helps, good luck with your cheesecake balls!

      • Q:  I would like to know the difference in the classic, artisan and professional 5 plus series. I plan to buy a mixer to make bread dough and also I love homemade ice cream. Can the ice cream attachment be fixed to all mixers.

        Thank you

      • A:  Hello Dominique,

We appreciate you reaching out to us with your inquiry!

I would be more than happy to help to explain the difference between the 3 mixers.

The KitchenAid 4.5 Qt Classic Stand Mixer, has 250 watts of power, tilt head model, 4.5 qt stainless steel bowl, has the power to mix 2 loaves of bread in a single batch.

The KitchenAid 5Qt Artisan Stand Mixer, has 325 watts of power, tilt head model, 5qt stainless steel bowl, has the power to mixer 4 loaves of bread in a single batch.

The KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series 5 Qt Stand Mixer, 450 watts of power, bowl-lift design, 5 qt stainless steel bowl, has the power to mix 7 loaves of bread in a single batch.

All the mixers have 10 speeds and slow start function. The ice cream maker that can fix these mixers is the KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachment for 5 & 6 Quart Stand Mixers Item #: KICA0WH.

Hope this helps! Enjoy your day Dominique!

      • Q:  It is hard to tell from pictures, how would you describe difference between Candy Apple Red and the Empire Red
      • A:  Hello Kathleen,

We appreciate you reaching out to us with your inquiry!

We all see colors differently, but in my opinion the difference between the Candy Apple Red, and the Empire Red is the finish of the paint. The Candy Apple Red has more a pearlescent finish to the paint. The Empire Red is a standard glossy finish and doesn't have that pearl look in the paint. Also, I find that the Empire Red is a slightly darker red versus the Candy Apple Red.

I hope this helps! Enjoy your day Kathleen!

One of the few products that lives up to all expectations, and then some Review by

I bought my first Kitchenaid in the early in the early 90s.
We made all our bread for a family of 10. Also, pizza dough, cookies and other lighter tasks. Of course it wore out. AFTER 10 YEARS. We bought another that had a slightly lesser work load. Kids move out etc. Now it is time for a third Kitchenaid and did not hesitate to choose the same product. We have always used the 5 quart model and have it sufficient. (Posted on 10/1/16)

I've had a Kitchen Aid for over 50 years. Review by

My old Kitchen Aid finally went kaput. The speed control quit working. It was either on full speed or off. I cant live without my Kitchenaid. I can make a loaf of bread or make pizza dough in a instant (that's a hundred times faster than an instant). This week it was making tomato sauce and it was a breeze. (Posted on 8/4/16)

I'm glad I bought this product Review by

I reviewed the wrong mixer. This is the mixer I bought and I'm glad I got this mixer. It cut down my baking and kneading by more than half the time. I could not believe I had actually did all of that baking, kneading and cooking in such a short period of time. I used a hand mixer previously. I can let the mixer do its thing while I'm still preparing other ingredients. What a great buy. My bread dough came out wonderful. Previously, I knead it by hand and it never came out right. I used it to knead pasta dough and it was great. I bought the pasta attachments and they should arrive soon. I'll buy the attachments that I will use a little at a time. I'm so glad God allowed me to purchase this item and he gave it to me at a great price. I've been looking at these stand mixers for some time now and they were too expensive. I was looking at the Artisan models and God blessed me with this model at a great price. I bought the expanded flat beater with rubber on the edges and it really does scrape the edges. This is what happens when you wait on the Lord to provide. Thanks Everythingkitchen for the great sale price that I paid (cheaper than the current price) and free shipping. I will purchase from you in the future. (Posted on 7/10/16)
