This combination set includes a decanter with walnut base, water jug with coaster, and two tumblers with coasters. Expert craftsmanship is required to mouth blow the glass and grind the stopper by hand. Each glass is mouthblown using centuries-old craft techniques, echoing the traditions of whisky distillation. Mouth blown by master glassblowers to create the glasses and decanter in the Islay Whisky set. The decanter stopper is ground to fit the neck of the decanter. The rim of the jug is scissor cut by expert craftsmen to achieve a soft rounded rim and the spout is shaped by hand using a wooden tool while the glass is still malleable. The decanter base and wooden coasters are shaped from American walnut and treated with food safe oils to bring out the grain and depth of colour. The wood is sourced from sustainably-managed forests and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
