A tall mouth-blown glass comport with a flared shape and thick, rounded stem. Designed for desserts or fruit. Mouth blown by skilled glassblowers to create a classic footed comport. The comport has a round flattened ball stem to which the foot is shaped and applied by hand while the glass is still malleable. The rim is melted under a flame to achieve the soft finish.
