A wide mouth-blown glass comport with a flared shape and rounded stem. Designed for desserts or fruit. Mouthblown by skilled glassblowers to create a classic footed comport. The comport has a round flattened ball stem to which the foot is shaped and applied by hand while the glass is still malleable. The rim is melted under a flame to achieve the soft finish.
