Using Non-KitchenAid Attachments, including the BeaterBlade, will void the 1-Year factory Warrant of your KitchenAid Mixer
It works great for most things but it it plastic and cannot hardly any thick cookies batter, etc. The top part that connects to the Kitchenaide breaks. That would be good to know when one buys it. If I buy a second one and do not use it for heavy batters, etc., I will have spent at least $60 total.
So far this beater blade attachment is working great. I love that it does the scraping for me.I only wish it was made from a heavy duty material.
flex edge beater
I purchased this beater. It touches the bottom of the bowl but misses the sides by a long shot. I have a Model KV25G with a 5 qt bowl. Lotta money for something that doesn't work.
Needed it for replacement. Just don't use for mixing very stiff batter. It will certainly break with stiffer dough or batter.
Great while it lasted
Worked great during warranty period.....then it broke.
Why not make it of a more durable material???
Customer service was helpful in selecting the blade for an older kitchenaid mixer. Service was quick and it works perfectly.
Kitchen aid beaterblade
It's was a gift for my husband he has been wanting one for a long time for our kitchen aid mixer. He loves it . And the price was vert good .
Does what it is intended for
Not for mixing stiff or thick batter or dough
Ours is broken
This beater is made of plastic and cannot handle the forces the mixer places on it. The shaft on ours cracked (split down the length) after about the 3rd or 4th use.
We were making chocolate chip cookies so it was not a batter that was exceptionally thick or out of the ordinary.
