Are KitchenAid mixer bowls microwave-safe? Only the KitchenAid Glass Bowl for 4.5qt & 5qt tilt-head mixers are microwave safe.
What do I do if my KitchenAid mixer doesn't have a spring or is missing the spring from beater shaft? If your KitchenAid mixer came without a spring on the beater shaft, this is normal. The newer KitchenAid mixers are produced without a spring as it is unnecessary for functionality. This makes the beater shaft easier to clean as well.
