        Unfortunately, the KitchenAid 6qt Flex Edge Beater will not fit your model mixer. I have, however, found a beater blade that will work with your model mixer. The beater I have found is the BeaterBlade for KitchenAid 5-Quart Bowl-Lift Mixers, item # KA-5L. This is not a KitchenAid made product but this will work just the same.

        Yes, the KitchenAid 6qt Flex Edge Beater (For Models KP26M1/KP26M8/KP26N9/KV25G/KV25M), will work with the KV25G0X mixer. You can use the flex edge beater with the 5qt bowl, and you do not need to purchase an additional bowl to use the flex edge beater. Also, the 6qt bowl will not fit your model mixer.

        I was able to find the correct items that you will need.

        For the flex edge beater, you will need the KitchenAid 6qt Flex Edge Beater (For Models KP26M1/KP26M8/KP26N9/KV25G/KV25M) Item #: KFEW6L. This flex edge beater will work for your model mixer.

        The glass bowl that you'll need would be the KitchenAid 6Qt Glass Bowl Kit for Bowl-Lift Stand Mixers Item #: KSMF6GB.

        Also, please be advised that if you are planning to use a flex edge beater with your glass bowl, you will need a different flex edge beater. The flex edge beater that you would need to use with the glass bowl is the KitchenAid Flex Edge Beater for Bowl-Lift "F Series" 6 Quart Glass Bowl Models Item #: KFEF6L. The F series flex edge beater has a coating on the beater that is designed to use with the glass bowls only.
