Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand Mixer, Onyx Black 5 Quart

    Mixer is wonderful - I love the fact that the Kitchen Aid Artisan has 4-5 times the power of my hand mixer and really blends and mixes quicker and with more efficiency than any others I have had, however, for some reason my Kitchenaid Artisan Mixer doesn't mix what is in the center of the bowl at the bottom even with the "scraper" blade in use. Small pet peeve amongst many fine features!

    Love it - Just have to make sure the very bottom gets stirred, too. A quick scrape then stir again takes care of it. Made a wonderful sponge cake yesterday in my Kitchen Aid Artisan. A first for me and no problems.

    Jim Suess - I wanted one of these 5 qt Kitchen Aid Artisan mixers for years, and thought if I didn't get it now, I never would! This thing does everything I expected it too and more. I've never baked anything in my life and am using it all the time! No flops to date! Pretty good for me! Excellent product.
