Q: do all the attachments fit this mixer? Like the pasta attachment?
A: Yes, all the Kitchenaid attachments fit this model, except for model specific things like bowls, dough hooks, etc. So, the attachments that are universal fit would be meat grinders, ice cream maker attachments, food grinding attachments, etc.

I ordered an Ice blue stand mixer on 4/16/12 i recieved it today 4/19/12 i was so surprised i got it this early! Perfect color, not dirty when i got it. works great! I love it -
I had the bowl-lift model from Kitchenaid for years and when we redid the kitchen I wanted to try the tilt-head Artisan model and I love it. Much easier and now that it's just the two of us I'm not mixing such huge quantities of things anymore.

 Beware of What Color You Choose -
I have the (ice) color, it is light and so when I opened mine up for the first time it was dirty with grey stuff all over it. I now wish I would have purchased a darker one. The splatter shield is made poorly, hard to stay on. It is a heavy item so it stays well on the counter. Turning it on and off is a little harder than what it should be.

Couldn't Love the Mixer More! -
I purchased this ice blue Kitchenaid Artisan stand mixer for my daughter and myself. My daughter wants to go to baking culinary school so we needed a new stand mixer. The price was fantastic, service great, and the color (Ice Blue) was just as expected. It reminds me of the kitchens in the 50's. We highly recommend this item and website!!

Classic wedding gift! -
I bought this in Ice Blue Kitchenaid Artisan for my very best friend when she got married. She was thrilled. The stand mixer works beautifully as expected. The color is fabulous, and reminiscent of the 50's.
Furthermore, the everythingkitchens.com site was the lowest price I could find for ANY Kitchenaid stand mixer, and the delivery was super fast. My package was shipped directly to my friend, in New Orleans, and she received it within a week of ordering. Plus I received free shipping, and there wasn't sales tax on my order! Mine did not come dirty, but note that I am only 13 and saved up my own money to buy this Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixer. I knew that the color would be extremely light, so I have no problem with this product.
